Quick Confidence Boosters for Making Approaches

There’s this trick the coaches and I have learned over the past few years of teaching bootcamps that can boost your confidence just enough to get you approaching. This trick, if done right before you walk into a set, can give you a boost of confidence that will get you talking to beautiful women. The best thing about this trick is how easy it is to do.

The trick comes from our ancient ape ancestors. It’s a simple pose that when held for a few minutes has been proven to make you feel more confident.

Here’s what you’re going to do:

When you get to the venue where you’re planning on practicing your seduction skills. Find a table or a place at the bar. Take your hands and place both of them down on the table. Make sure they’re placed wider than shoulder width. Splay out your fingers and lean forward, putting weight on your arms. It’s that pose you see in every movie where the guy in power is leaning over the corporate table commanding his employees. It’s a position of power, and if you hold it for a few minutes, it’s been shown in studies to make you feel more confident.

It should look something like this:

In addition, I want to give you one more little trick you can use to keep yourself, motivated:

Here’s the deal. Next time you’re out and you see a woman you want to approach and you just can’t seem to push yourself to walk over and start a conversation, then try this: count to three out loud, then say “Go” and approach. That’s right, just count…1…2…3… and then approach.

I know that sounds really silly. I know that sounds too simple. I know that sounds like it won’t work, but you’re going to have to trust me. Sometimes, all you need is a little motivation, something that let’s you know that you have to go – right now. This one, two, three trick is great for giving you that “jumping out of an airplane” moment where you feel like there’s only one direction to go.

So next time you’re out practicing take a minute to stand in the power pose, then give yourself a 1,2,3 count and approach.
