Getting to that Second Date

Our female dating advisor Emma recently wrote about what you need to do to get a second date. Emma’s article focused on some pitfalls and things you need to do differently if the first encounter wasn’t stellar. She also referenced the importance of intriguing conversation. And there’s now scientific proof…

Men’s Health pointed out a study published in the Journal of Experimental Social Psychology that emphasized a give-and-take conversation, as opposed to just peppering her with questions.

“Focusing entirely on her side of the conversation may hurt your second date chances,” the article stated. The authors advised that you tweak the questions slightly when returning serve. “So if she asks about, say, your favorite travel spot, you might ask her about a childhood trip.”
