The KISS OF DEATH when attracting a woman is THE VOID. This is the moment in a conversation with a woman or group of women you just met when the talking STOPS and everyone feels AWKWARD.

Let’s examine this from the woman’s perspective. She’s at a bar with her friends and a guy boldly approaches them and ask an interesting question (a PUA opener):

“Hey, my friend over there was asked to be on the Jerry Springer show, but the theme of the show is secret admirers. The producers told him he’s got an admirer, but he won’t know who it is until the show. What would you do if you were him?”

The woman enjoys the fun discussion of the question with this new interesting guy and her friends. Next he tells them about the secret psychological meaning about what fingers they wear their rings on (a PUA cold-reading DHV).

Now the woman is really enjoying herself and starting to think this guy is interesting. She feels the warmth of attraction growing in her chest.

But then the conversation dies. Everyone is just staring at each other, for what feels like an eternity. This isn’t fun for her anymore. She starts looking around the room for something else interesting, a way to escape this AWKWARD FEELING.

THE VOID will happen if you let it happen. Your job as a Pick Up Artist is to KEEP THE CONVERSATION INTERESTING.

And that means that you have 3 problems: First you cannot afford to enter THE VOID of not talking, because it will lower your value, destroying attraction. Secondly you CAN’T talk about BORING STUFF (avoid talking about your job, the weather, the party, etc). And lastly you can’t let her attention slip away, even for a moment, or you lose her.

The Pick Up Artist solution to those 3 problems is simple. We’ve talked this month about Demonstrating Higher Value routines (abbreviated DHV). These are Pick Up Artists conversation tools that build female attraction by displaying a PUA’s high value and interesting personality. Usually, these are used after the opener as the next step in attraction building.

An advanced PUA strategy is to use DHV routines to keep the conversation moving, away from THE VOID. They do this by keeping an emergency DHV Routine in reserve. When they feel the VOID about to happen…BOOM…the reserve DHV is used to keep them from looking BORING and LOW VALUE. It saves the day.
